Biodiversity Mural Our Green Schools Committee worked with muralist Harriet Taheny to create a vibrant biodiversity mural. The artwork features native plants and animals and highlights the importance of protecting our environment. We are very proud of the creativity and teamwork shown by all involved.
Green School Flag Renewal Visit Many thanks to Anna Moran, Environmental Awareness Officer with Leitrim County Council, who visited us as part of our Green School programme. She spoke with the committee about our work towards the Global Citizenship: Litter and Waste flag and gave every pupil a chance to share their ideas and efforts.
Planting We planted flowers in recycled tyres, helping to brighten our school while promoting reuse and biodiversity.
Recycling Thank you to all pupils who continue to bring in plastic bottles for our re-turn bin. Funds raised will support school resources.
