World Book Day takes place on Thursday 6th of March. The Green School Committee are holding a book swap shop to encourage pupils to swap rather than shop for new books. Pupils can bring in a book to swap and each pupil will choose a different book to take home. We will be celebrating World Book Day in an environmentally friendly way!♻️
Pupils will also have the option to dress up as their favourite character from a book on the day.As part of the Green-Schools Programme, pupils are encouraged to make costumes at home using recyclable materials...paper, plastic, cardboard etc. instead of buying a new one. Recycling is part of our theme this year. This is optional and pupils may wear their school uniform instead on the day if they do not want to dress up.
