As part of Science in September we learned about the growth of plants and how plants make their own food (photosynthesis). To show how this works, we made grass heads. In order for them to grow, we had to water them, give them soil and plenty of sunlight. I would describe this science activity as a fun way to learn about plants and how they grow.
