December was a super month, full of fun and learning! We really enjoyed preparing for our Irish drama, Dinnéar na Nollag, and learning all about World War II. We worked hard on our group projects about the D-Day landings and our class novel The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.
We also had great fun at our gymnastics lessons in Carrick and a special history visit from David Swift, where we got to see lots of interesting old artefacts and learn about the O’Rourke family of Leitrim.
Christmas time was especially exciting with lots of festive art, songs and drama. We had a brilliant Christmas talent show, enjoyed our Secret Santa, and finished off with a cosy hot chocolate party. We can’t wait for lots more fun and exciting activities in the new year!
