As part of our work on the Green Schools Programme on Global Citizenship – Litter and Waste, we were delighted to welcome The Bin It! Roadshow to our school today.
Bin It! is an award winning interactive presentation that tackles the anti-social issues surrounding discarded litter. Bin It! educates students about what litter is, the reasons why people litter, the damage it causes to the environment, and the importance of correct litter disposal of rubbish, especially chewing gum.
Our 4th and 6th class pupils really enjoyed the workshop and came away motivated to play their part in keeping our school and local environment clean.
